WILMINGTON, DEL.—Womble Carlyle attorney Morgan Patterson is the new Membership Chair of the International Women's Insolvency & Restructuring Confederation (IWIRC). In that role, Patterson will serve on the organization’s Board of Directors.
The IWIRC is an organization committed to the connection, promotion and success of women in the insolvency and restructuring professions worldwide. The organization includes a global membership of more than 1,200 attorneys, bankers, corporate-turnaround professionals, financial advisors and other restructuring practitioners.
Morgan Patterson’s practice focuses on bankruptcy and creditor’s rights in complex chapter 11 proceedings. Prior to joining Womble Carlyle, Patterson represented both debtors and a variety of secured and unsecured creditors. She is also experienced in representing liquidating trusts and official committees. She practices in Womble Carlyle’s Wilmington office.
