GREENVILLE, S.C.—Womble Bond Dickinson Client Development Department team members Stephanie Hinrichs and Anne Reavis both were speakers at the Legal Marketing Association Southeast Regional Conference, held Sept. 26-27 in Greenville.
Hinrichs, Director of Client Service, and Reavis, Director of Research and Business Intelligence, both took part in a panel discussion on “Business & Competitive Intelligence: Preparing Your Attorney for a Client Pitch or Client Meeting”.
Panelists discussed how to prepare, package and edit information for client meetings. They also addressed how business development managers can use that information to prepare an attorney or pitch team for an upcoming meeting. In addition, the panelists discussed the workflow of how the information is requested, as well as what topics should be researched and how the information is delivered and used.
They were joined in the discussion by Lynne Kilgore of Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman LLP, Dave Whiteside of CLIENTSFirst Consulting LLC, and Emily Woloschuk of Lightfoot, Franklin & White, LLC.
Hinrichs also took part in a “Pathways to Your Best Career” panel discussion. In this event, panelists spoke about their career paths and offered their insights into such workplace issues as:
- Leadership characteristics;
- Communication;
- Project management/managing up;
- Sharing feedback;
- Handling difficult/stressful situations; and
- Varying roles in the legal world.
