PORT ST. LUCIE, FLA.—Womble Bond Dickinson Impact Team Leader Pam Rothenberg and Director of Impact Strategies Mark Newberg will participate in OC USA, a collaborative Impact Economy summit. Companies in the Impact Economy combine the desire to address a social problem with wealth creation.

Rothenberg will lead a “Capacity Building Clinic: Activate Your Intrapreneur.” This session offers the chance to learn from change-makers working inside large institutions and organizations. How can professionals in the Impact Economy effectively influence these big levers for change?

Also, Newberg will lead a presentation on “Economics of Impact: Hidden in Plain Sight.” For example, one of the largest financial firms in the country started by making impact loans. Also, the world’s largest retailer is making huge strides to benefit the environment. Newberg and participants will shine a light on these “Hidden in Plain Sight” examples of the Impact Economy in action.

OC USA takes place May 6-11 in Port St. Lucie and is presented by the Opportunity Collaboration, a global network of leaders dedicated to building sustainable solutions to poverty and injustice.

Womble Bond Dickinson is a Founding Partner of the Opportunity Collaboration.
