TYSONS, VA—The 2019 Association for Corporate Growth National Capital Chapter Washington Technology Showcase brought together technology sector leaders from the Washington, DC area to discuss innovations and opportunities in the region.
Womble Bond Dickinson was a sponsor of the event, which took place Dec. 5. The content focuses of this year’s Washington Technology Showcase were IoT, 5G and AI. The event also featured “pop-ups” where compelling companies introduced themselves and explained their technology focus. The showcase concluded with product demonstrations from companies throughout the region, with networking sessions running in parallel.
Attorneys Dean Rutley and David Scott and Client Service Director Cameron Hunt represented Womble Bond Dickinson at the showcase, and introduced some of the companies that are presenting their technologies.
In addition, Womble Bond Dickinson helped coordinate a panel discussion among RunSafe Security CTO Doug Britton, Patrocinium Systems CTO Dipto Chakravarty and Kastle Systems CTO Mohammad Soleimani entitled “Physical Security: Protection of Property and Personnel”. Heather Nickerson, Chief Growth & Strategy Officer at Red Five and President of Red Five Privacy Labs, served as moderator.
