WINSTON-SALEM, N.C.—Big things are happening in Womble Bond Dickinson’s US birthplace. On Feb. 22, firm attorneys and staff joined more than 600 other business and community leaders for the 2018 Winston-Salem Chamber State of the Economy Luncheon.

Womble Bond Dickinson was the Title Sponsor of The State of the Economy Luncheon, which took place at the Benton Convention Center.

Winston-Salem Office Managing Partner Kim Mann represented the firm at the event, as did Jenn Baringer, Geoff Beach, Jonathan Engram, Hardin Halsey, Sonny Haynes, Chris Hewitt, Trent Jernigan, Jeff Lawyer, John Morrow, John Pueschel, Scott Schaaf, Laura Spain, Kim Stogner and Mark Wiley.

Lowes Foods President Tim Lowe was the keynote speaker for the event. In addition to Lowe’s keynote address, the State of the Economy Luncheon featured the release of the annual publication, WS Works, the Chamber’s organizational and community report. Feature articles include Businesses that Use Drones, Unusual Entrepreneurs, and Outdoor Recreation Businesses. WS Works also contains the Chamber’s economic report – an annual snapshot of Greater Winston-Salem’s growth and economic development year-to-year.
