BALTIMORE—A team from Womble Bond Dickinson’s Baltimore office joined more than 300 business leaders to celebrate Maryland companies that are expanding locally and internationally.

Baltimore Office Managing Partner David Hamilton, attorneys Newt Fowler, Barry Herman and Julie Hopkins, and Client Service Director Candace Gill attended the Maryland International Leadership Awards on March 8. Patrick Wynn of the Howard County Economic Development Authority and Alison Sheaffer of Direct Energy attended as firm guests.

This year’s Maryland International Leadership Awards recipients represent such companies as executives at Lockheed Martin, Stanley Black & Decker, Dunlop Boots, Pompeian, GSK, Jhpiego, Get Real Health and Celeste Industries Corporation.

The event took place at the American Visionary Art Museum. Featured speakers included Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan, Lockheed Martin Chairman, President and CEO Marillyn Hewson, and UMB Clark School of Engineering Dean Darryll Pines.
