Womble Bond Dickinson Attorneys Take Part in SCBIO Executive Breakfast during MEDTECH 2019 in Boston

BOSTON—South Carolina’s medtech and life sciences community converged on Boston for MEDTECH 2019, and on Sept. 24, gathered for an Executive Breakfast. Womble Bond Dickinson was a sponsor for this breakfast event, which was presented by SCBIO, the South Carolina Biotechnology Industry Organization.

Womble Bond Dickinson attorney Stephanie Yarbrough is the Vice Chair of SCBIO and helped organize the SCBIO Executive Breakfast. In addition, Womble Bond Dickinson attorney Briana Erickson, Ph.D. , a life sciences IP attorney in the firm’s Boston office, also attended and spoke to attendees.

Attendees at the SCBIO Executive Breakfast had the chance to meet South Carolina’s MEDTECH delegation, industry peers, economic development partners, and research university leaders over breakfast. Around 80 people registered for the sold out event, which took place at the Westin Boston Waterfront. The Charleston Regional Development Alliance and the Upstate SC Alliance also sponsored the breakfast.

MEDTECH 2019 took place Sept. 23-25 in Boston. The event attracted more than 3,000 executives from the medical technology sector.
