CHARLOTTE, NC—Experienced financial transactions attorney Taber Cathcart has been named the new co-leader of Womble Bond Dickinson’s Financial Services Team. She joins US partner Debbie Harden and UK partner Simon Richardson in leading the transatlantic team, which guides banks, credit unions, financial services providers, and asset and wealth managers in complex commercial, regulatory, dispute resolution (including litigation, arbitration and mediation), bankruptcy/restructuring, and transactional matters. Both Cathcart and Harden are based in Charlotte, one of the world’s leading markets for the financial services industry.
“Womble Bond Dickinson has a long history of advising and supporting banks and other financial services clients, and our commitment to serving these companies has never been stronger,” Cathcart said. “I am honored to co-lead this outstanding team of attorneys and professionals as we help our clients to achieve their goals.”
On the US side, Cathcart joins Harden, a litigation attorney with more than 30 years of experience in high-stakes banking and finance litigation. Cathcart primarily concentrates her practice on senior credit facilities, including syndicated and cross-border facilities, as well as subordinated debt transactions.
