On Feb 4-6, CTM Partner Marjorie Spivak and Tech Sector Client Service Director Cameron Hunt attended the 2019 NATE (National Association of Tower Erectors) UNITE Conference in Grapevine, TX. NATE is known across the United States as the “voice of the tower industry,” and serves its community of cellular and wireless tower design, engineering, construction, and maintenance providers.
Spivak has extensive experience in tower siting matters and she assists her clients, both carriers and infrastructure companies, with compliance with the National Environmental Policy Act and National Historic Preservation Act, site acquisition, and zoning to ensure compliance with state and federal regulatory requirements.
Womble has been a NATE supporter since Spivak joined the firm in early 2018 with the acquisition of Bennet & Bennet. This is the second year Spivak and Hunt have attended the conference and sponsored its “Women of Nate” (WON) 5K run and breakfast.
At the conference, Spivak and Hunt met the current FCC Commissioner Brendan Carr and heard a presentation from Duck Commander’s CEO and star of A&E’s Duck Dynasty Willie Robertson.
Hunt also placed 1st for women, 3rd overall, in the conference’s 5K run.
