CHARLOTTE, NC – On October 10, 2019, Womble Bond Dickinson corporate attorney Patrick Strubbe spoke on US-UK business relations at the recent Best Practices Panel Discussion co-hosted by the British American Business Council, CliftonLarsonAllen and UK-based Smith & Williamson.

Strubbe took part in a panel discussion on “Doing Business in the UK.” The panel discussion centered around best practices trade and finance connections between the United States and the United Kingdom, and in particular focused on identifying opportunities for expansion of business and operations into the UK. Speaking to an audience of business owners and other professionals doing cross-border business, Strubbe discussed market regulations and business practices, the impact and considerations around Brexit, tax and banking considerations, trends in M&A activity and contract provisions, labor issues, and cultural differences.
