LOS ANGELES—Experienced patent attorney and IP strategist Adam Lewental has joined Womble Bond Dickinson’s Los Angeles office.
Lewental guides companies in the electrical, mechanical and software sectors in drafting and prosecuting patent applications. He also works with clients to review contracts and sales agreements to help ensure that their global intellectual property interests are protected. Companies also turn to Lewental for guidance in Freedom to Operate and Patent Landscape searches as well as Lanham Act actions, corporation formation, patent infringement, and trademark strategy.
He comes to Womble Bond Dickinson from Hyperloop One, where he served as Intellectual Property Counsel for the past three years. As the longest-tenured member of the legal team, he developed and managed the entirety of the company’s IP program, including patent prosecution, trademark strategy, and IP obligations.
In addition, Lewental is the author of a 2017 article on the intellectual property issues associated with 3D printing.
