WASHINGTON, DC – DC veteran Marcus J. Lemon’s joining Womble Bond Dickinson is making headlines this week. Inframation News, a media outlet serving the infrastructure investment community, interviewed Lemon, an infrastructure, public-private partnerships, and capital markets attorney, about his goals as the latest major lateral to join the firm.
Lemon touted the firm’s public-private partnership experience in the article, noting the real estate, capital markets, transactional, and construction practices in particular. He also expressed his excitement about working with our UK colleagues on projects.
In addition to his outside counsel career, Lemon has also served under two presidents, most recently as Director of the Transportation and Infrastructure Team on President Donald Trump’s transition team. Lemon told Inframation News he believes the president will work with Democrats in Congress to pass infrastructure legislation before the end of this year.
