HOUSTON—Heart disease and stroke are the leading causes of death for women in the United States. With that in mind, the American Heart Association launched the Go Red For Women campaign in 2004, aimed at educating women about the risks of cardiovascular disease and helping them improve their heart health.

Womble Bond Dickinson attorney Kristin Lamb represented the firm at the 15 th Annual Houston Go Red For Women Luncheon, which took place May 17 at the Post Oak Hotel in Uptown Houston. She was joined at the event by several potential clients.

Global Health Corps Co-Founder/Board Chair Barbara Pierce Bush served as the keynote speaker for the event.
