WASHINGTON, D.C.—Radio industry leaders are optimistic about the interest FCC Chairman Ajit Pai is showing in their industry.

“I don’t know any broadcaster who isn’t elated,” Womble Carlyle Telecom attorney John Garziglia told Communications Daily.

Pai spoke on February 16th at a North American Broadcast Association event.  While he didn’t share any specifics, Pai stated that “radio won’t be neglected” and promised to fight for the radio broadcasting industry.
