BOSTON—Lawyer Monthly magazine has named Womble Bond Dickinson attorney Jennifer Itzkoff a winner in its 2019 Women in Law Awards program in the practice area of Information Technology. Itzkoff is being recognized for significant client contributions, civic involvement, as well as pro bono work done over the past year.
The Lawyer Monthly Women in Law Awards are based on nominations by industry peers and colleagues as well as review of the attorney’s activity over the past year including:
- Amount of documented activity in the last 12 months when compared to industry peers;
- Involvement in significant deals, cases or notable work;
- Recognized legal expertise by peer group;
- Innovation in client care;
- Size (value) of involvement within transactions, deals and cases;
- Previous accolades and entries within recognized legal guides; and
- Client testimonials.
The 2019 Women in Law winners are honored in the May 2019 issue of Lawyer Monthly.
In 2018, Itzkoff also was honored by Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly with the Excellence in the Law Award for Up & Coming lawyers.
Jennifer Itzkoff guides clients through developing registration strategies and has significant experience in trademark clearance, prosecution, maintenance, and enforcement work, and regularly handles internet based claims and concerns. In addition, she handles complex administrative trademark opposition and cancellation proceedings, often to early resolution. Itzkoff has helped many software and technology companies in obtaining brand protection to stand out in an often crowded marketplace, and she relies on her intellectual property litigation background to assist clients in risk management, as well as avoiding and resolving trademark, copyright and related disputes.
