CHARLOTTE, NC—Womble Bond Dickinson immigration law attorney Jennifer Cory has been appointed Secretary of the North Carolina Bar Association’s International Law and Practice Section .
Cory previously served as the section’s Treasurer. She will serve a one-year term as International Law and Practice Section Secretary.
The International Law and Practice Section reviews current developments in political and trade-related entities, monitors state and federal laws and regulations and makes recommendations where appropriate. The section sponsors CLE programs and services, provides members with a substantive newsletter and helps mold the NCBA's legislative agenda for presentation to the General Assembly.
In addition, Cory recently was named to the North Carolina State Bar’s Immigration Specialization Committee.
Jennifer Cory leads the Womble Immigration Solutions team.
