GREENSBORO, NC—Greg Chabon regularly works with entrepreneurs to help them achieve their business dreams. On March 28, he shared some of his knowledge and experience with a group of aspiring entrepreneurs.

Chabon spoke on the “Legal Aspects of Starting a Business” to members of the Entrepreneurship Class at North Carolina A&T State University. Chabon was invited to speak to the class of 30 students by A&T Professor and Director of the Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation Dr. Thaddeus McEwen.

Chabon’s presentation addressed such topics as:

  • Business name and registering the name;
  • Business licenses;
  • Structuring the business:
  • The responsibilities of an employer, including insurance, withholding taxes, and contracts.
