RALEIGH, NC—Womble Bond Dickinson attorneys David Boaz and John Morrow are hosting a Feb. 14 roundtable discussion of 2018’s most significant trademark decisions. The lunchtime session takes place in Womble Bond Dickinson’s Raleigh office and is presented by the International Trademark Association (INTA).

In this roundtable, Boaz and Morrow will review important 2018 decisions affecting substantive law and day-to-day trademark practice. This roundtable will cover key federal court decisions and precedential Trademark Trial and Appeal Board decisions.

David Boaz focuses his practice on guiding clients through patent, trademark, and copyright disputes. His IP litigation experience includes representing clients in the apparel design and manufacturing, thermal insulation tubing, firearm mechanisms, carpet tufting machinery, polymers, multi-platform connectivity software, bank payment processing automation, automotive diagnostics, computer gaming and sweepstakes software, food packaging, and agrochemical products industries.

John Morrow currently chairs Womble Bond Dickinson’s US Intellectual Property Litigation Group. For more than two decades, his practice has focused on complex disputes involving patent infringement, trademark and trade dress infringement, unfair competition, copyright infringement, trade secret misappropriation, false advertising, antitrust, and cybersecurity (data breaches).
