BALTIMORE—What is DEALSwarm? Think of it as private equity meets speed dating.

Presented by Womble Carlyle and M&T Bank’s Equity Sponsor Group, the first DEALSwarm event took place Thursday, Dec. 8th in Baltimore. Here’s how it works—representatives of nine private equity funds and nine investment banks come together, then hold short (30-minute), one-on-one pitch sessions. Each bank and each fund gets nine meetings throughout the course of the day.
