WINSTON-SALEM, N.C.—On March 4th, the Piedmont Room in Womble Carlyle’s Winston-Salem office was transformed into a command center for the North Carolina Bar Association’s 4ALL Statewide Service Day.

Attorneys from Womble Carlyle and outside the firm gathered to take calls and provide pro bono legal counsel. The Winston-Salem call center answered 545 calls during the 12-hour event.

Attorneys answered questions in such practice areas as: Benefits, Consumer/Bankruptcy, Criminal & Traffic, Corporate Formation, Employment, Estate Planning, Family Law /Child Issues, Foreclosure, Housing and Personal Injury.

Former Womble Carlyle Pro Bono Director Tripp Greason and attorney Jennifer Lyday organized the Winston-Salem effort, along with Kilpatrick Townsend attorney Dustin Greene. The Winston-Salem call center was one of seven across the state established by the NCBA to field pro bono calls.
