BALTIMORE—What’s better than a good game of golf? A good game of golf for a great cause.

The 17th Annual Sparrows Point Golf Classic to benefit Boys Hope Girls Hope of Baltimore took place April 27. Womble Bond Dickinson was a sponsor of the tournament and attorney Pat Buckler and Client Service Director Candace Gill were among the participants, playing alongside firm guests Justin Lefevre from PwC and Craig Vaughan from Sonatype.

Womble Bond Dickinson attorney Barry Herman serves as Chair of the Boys Hope Girls Hope of Baltimore Board of Directors.

Boys Hope Girls Hope of Baltimore helps academically motivated middle and high school students rise above disadvantaged backgrounds and become successful in college and beyond. The organization’s goal is to graduate young people who are physically, emotionally and academically prepared for post-secondary education and a productive life, breaking the cycle of poverty.
