Womble Carlyle has bolstered its dynamic Winston-Salem Real Estate Team with the addition of experienced attorney Ellen Lloyd.

Lloyd represents clients in commercial real estate transactions. She has significant experience representing purchasers, developers, borrowers and sellers in a wide variety of commercial real estate projects. She comes to Womble Carlyle from Stone Pigman Walther Wittmann L.L.C. in New Orleans, and she is licensed to practice in both North Carolina and Louisiana.

Lloyd’s hiring is the latest in a series of recent positive developments for Womble Carlyle’s Winston-Salem Real Estate Team.

In July, Partner Scott Schaaf was named the Chair of the North Carolina Bar Association’s Real Property Section for 2015-16. The Real Property Section is one of the NCBA’s largest sections with more than 2,100 active members.

Also, Winston-Salem Partner Trent Jernigan has been named Real Estate Practice Group Leader for the entire firm. Womble Carlyle’s Real Estate Practice Group encompasses 44 attorneys throughout the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic regions.

“We are excited to have Ellen on our team,” Jernigan said. “She brings a wealth of experience to Womble Carlyle and our clients.”
