Allen O’Rourke to Discuss Data Breach Law at RETR3AT Cybersecurity Conference

Womble Carlyle’s Allen O’Rourke is among the cybersecurity industry insiders invited to speak at the “RETR3AT” cybersecurity conference hosted by Montreat College’s Center for Cybersecurity Education and Leadership on Oct. 27.
Participating on a panel about emerging sectors in cybersecurity, Allen will be speaking about the development of cybersecurity and data breach law within the legal industry. He will be joined in the discussion by Queen Associates, Inc. President Robin Pugh and NFP Risk Consultant Evan Taylor. Verodin Chief Revenue Officer Rob Potter will moderate the discussion.
Allen O’Rourke represents clients in cyber investigations, government enforcement, and civil litigation related to data breaches and cyberattacks. He also counsels clients on data privacy and cybersecurity issues. Before joining Womble Carlyle, he served as an Assistant US Attorney at the US Attorney’s Office for the District of Columbia, where he focused on cybercrime.
