Womble Carlyle attorney Allen Gibson concluded his tenure as President of the American College of Construction Lawyers (ACCL) by presiding over the 27th ACCL Annual Meeting.

Gibson’s accomplishments as ACCL President included restructuring and reenergizing the Committees of the College and implementation of the organization’s new Strategic Plan, in addition to the planning of programs for the Annual Meeting.

Gibson will continue to serve on the ACCL Board of Directors for one year as the Immediate Past President.

The ACCL’s 27th Annual Meeting took place Feb. 18-21 in Laguna Beach.

Allen Gibson has more than 30 years of trial experience in state and federal courts as well as in arbitration proceedings. He represents a wide variety of businesses involved in the construction industry including owners, developers, design professionals, general contractors, subcontractors, suppliers and sureties. Gibson practices in Womble Carlyle’s Charleston, S.C., office.
