RALEIGH, N.C.—Womble Bond Dickinson attorney Alexandra Villarreal O’Rourke will join a panel discussion on “The Future of Cybersecurity” at the 2018 Automotive Intelligence Summit.

With a focus on emerging disciplines such as artificial intelligence, predictive analytics, blockchain, connected mobility and more, O’Rourke and other cybersecurity leaders will shed light on how the industry leaders are thinking about the future of information security.

She will be joined in the July 25 event by BB&T Executive Vice President for Security Architecture & Strategic Planning Ed Goff, Levvel Chief Technical Officer Chris Hart, and Bank of America Vice President Rick Scott. Tariq Bokhari, Executive Director of the Carolina Fintech Hub, will moderate the discussion.

The Automotive Intelligence Summit is a three-day event focusing on the future of the automotive sphere through eight different lenses: Connected Mobility, Fintech Solutions, Transportation Research, Economic Forecasts, Predictive Analytics, Mergers & Acquisitions, Compliance & Regulations and Investment Capital. 

Alexandra Villarreal O’Rourke leads Womble Bond Dickinson’s Financial Regulatory team and co-leads the firm’s Fintech team. She draws upon her background in the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) to advise clients on mission-critical compliance questions and risk management as well as state and federal financial regulatory engagement, investigations, and enforcement. She also has significant experience on Fintech and Artificial Intelligence regulatory matters and helps clients navigate the evolving legal terrains on those topics.
