The 2016 MCCA General Counsel Summit began April 13th at the PGA National Resort & Spa in Palm Beach Gardens, and the Womble Carlyle team is in the heart of the action.

A trip to South Florida always is a good opportunity to hit the links. So a number of Womble Carlyle attorneys and staff members took part in the Annual Lawyers Cup Challenge (LCC) Golf Tournament on Thursday, April 14th.

Also on Thursday, Claire Rauscher took part in a panel discussion on “Compliance as Risk Management?” and Jill Girardeau participated in a panel discussion titled “Data Privacy and the Duty to Protect”.

In addition, attorneys Alison Bost, Brent Clinkscale, Vivian Coates, Jamie Francis, Chris Gyves, Sonny Haynes, John Hunter, Les Jacobs, Kevin Lyn, Keith Mendelson, Alex Park, Sid Shenoy and Brandie Smith, Greenville Director of Administration Barbara Fountain and Director of Media & Public Relations Russell Thomas are representing the firm at the Summit.

The MCCA General Counsel Summit (formerly the General Counsel Invitational) is a four-day event that provides innovative educational offerings focusing on leadership and diversity. Womble Carlyle joins Microsoft, Morgan Lewis and Wal-Mart as Strategic Sponsors.
