WASHINGTON, D.C.— In conjunction with the Business Network for Offshore Wind (BNOW) Offshore Wind Standards Workshop Womble Bond Dickinson held a Mix and Mingle Rooftop Happy Hour for BNOW members.

The after-hours event took place Oct. 15 at the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers in Washington, D.C. In addition to Womble Bond Dickinson, the Kingdom of the Netherlands sponsored the event.

Joe Tirone, a co-leader of Womble Bond Dickinson’s Energy & Natural Resources Sector Team, hosted the event on behalf of the firm.

Joe Tirone is the co-leader of Womble Bond Dickinson’s Energy & Natural Resources Sector. His practice focuses on energy project and infrastructure development, mergers and acquisitions and project finance. He has represented energy sector companies in structuring, negotiating and drafting a range of complex contracts and agreements. Tirone advises various stakeholders in a broad range of issues in the renewable generation sector, including developers, equity participants, equipment providers, and financing parties. His experience includes working as in-house counsel for an independent power producer in connection with the development, construction and finance of power generation facilities.
