MIAMI BEACH, FLA.—Womble Bond Dickinson attorney Stephanie Yarbrough was a speaker at the Area Development Consultants Forum, which took place Dec. 3-5 in Miami Beach.
Yarbrough spoke on “Navigating Opportunities in the 2017 Tax Cuts and Jobs Act”. In particular, she discussed federal Opportunity Zones and how they provide incentives for investment in low-income areas. In a detailed presentation, Yarbrough spoke on how Opportunity Funds and Opportunity Zones work, how investors can take advantage of these opportunities, the tax benefits of Opportunity Zones, and the role state leaders play in this federal program.
