North Carolina Lawyers Weekly is the latest news outlet to cover the Bond Dickinson-Womble Carlyle global alliance, with a lengthy front-page article featuring comments from Womble Carlyle Global Business Group Leader Jeff Hay.

Hay said both firms share a commitment to value, providing clients with a cost-effective, quality alternative to more expensive firms in Manhattan or London’s “Magic Circle.”

“The higher price point can be a real problem for our clients when they have to do business in the UK,” Hay said. “We like to say we offer Wall Street quality at Main Street prices.”

Hay said the alliance will help both firms better serve their clients on both sides of the Atlantic.

“So much of the world is becoming global in nature,” he tells North Carolina Lawyers Weekly. “To be an effective competitor, you have to be prepared to offer international capabilities.”
