PARIS—Womble Bond Dickinson Partner Britt Biles will take part in a panel discussion on “Crypto and Corruption: Risks and Challenges for Anti-Corruption Compliance” at the IBA Anti-Corruption Conference.

The rise of cryptocurrencies has presented unique risks and challenges for anti-corruption compliance. This panel will discuss:

  • The basics of crypto assets, what they are and how they are being used.
  • What risks and challenges they present from a compliance perspective.
  • How regulators and enforcement agencies are approaching the issue.
  • What risk management tools and approaches are being used to address those risks.

Joining Biles in the panel discussion will be: John Egan CEO, L’Atelier BNP Paribas in Paris; Britt Mosman, Willkie Farr & Gallagher in Washington, D.C.; and Robert Wyld, Johnson Winter & Slattery in Sydney. Deirdre O’Mahony of Arthur Cox in Dublin and IBA Anti-Corruption Committee Website Officer, will moderate the discussion. 

The 18th annual IBA Anti-Corruption Conference takes place June 14-15 in Paris.
