BOSTON—Veteran commercial real estate, land use and environmental attorney Greg Sampson has joined Womble Bond Dickinson’s Boston office as a Partner.

Sampson represents clients with complex real estate acquisitions, financings and dispositions, as well as in commercial real estate leasing matters. His experience includes retail and gaming, industrial, office, multifamily residential, and renewable energy projects.  He also guides clients through local, state and federal permitting and public approval processes, including matters relating to zoning, subdivisions, air and water quality, wetlands/waterways, transportation, and site cleanup. Before becoming an attorney, Sampson spent nearly a decade as Project Manager/Senior Environmental Planner for BSC Group, Inc. in Boston. 

Sampson is a LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Accredited Professional with the Neighborhood Development specialty. He is active in NAIOP – The Commercial Real Estate Development Association, where he has served in variety of leadership roles in the Massachusetts Chapter, and he serves on the board of directors of the Environmental Business Council of New England, Inc. In the community, he serves as the Chair of the City of Melrose Planning Board and is a board member of “e” inc. – an Environmental Science Learning and Action Center.

At Womble Bond Dickinson, Sampson joins a Real Estate Sector Team of nearly 200 attorneys in the U.S. and UK.
