Womble Bond Dickinson Partner Stephanie Yarbrough will be a speaker at SCBIO’s Life Sciences Forum which takes place Sept. 14 in Columbia, S.C.
Yarbrough will take part in a panel discussion on economic development incentives for the life sciences industry. She will discuss such topics as the factors driving South Carolina as a top choice for job creation, the importance of incentives in closing economic development deals, examples of how incentives convinced life sciences companies to come to South Carolina, and what changes she would like to see to make the state even more competitive with its neighbors.
SCBIO is a statewide, not-for-profit, public/private life sciences industry association and economic development organization formed to actively promote, build, support, expand, and convene South Carolina's life sciences industry. Yarbrough is a current Board of Directors Member and former Board Vice-Chair of SCBIO. She also has served as the Chair of the Board’s Incentives and Governmental Relations Committee.
The theme for this year’s SCBIO Life Sciences Forum is “Thriving Through Change.”
