BALTIMORE—Womble Bond Dickinson attorneys Ginny Barnhart and Sarah Meyer attended the Executive Alliance’s Women of Excellence 25th Anniversary Dinner. The event took place Oct. 30 at Martin’s West in Baltimore.

The Executive Alliance is a statewide not-for-profit organization in Maryland composed of professional executive women. The organization initiates, supports and engages in activities to promote the advancement of women in professional and executive positions. Executive Alliance promotes the placement of women on corporate boards and educates the public on the benefits of having women in decision-making positions. Members serve as role models and mentors to women seeking to advance their careers.

Nike Corporate Director and former GE Vice Chair Beth Comstock, the author of "Imagine It Forward: Courage, Creativity, and the Power of Change," was the guest speaker for the Women of Excellence 25th Annual Dinner.

Ginny Barnhart has more than 30 years of experience in litigating complex commercial and class action cases in federal and state courts and in arbitration forums across the nation. She has represented regional and national banks, credit unions, lenders, credit card issuers and servicers in the defense of RESPA, TILA, HOEPA, FDCPA, FCRA, ECOA, TCPA, FHA and EFTA suits, state consumer protection claims, UCC disputes, CARD Act claims, and conversion, breach of fiduciary duty, Ponzi scheme and undue influence claims.

Sarah Meyer is a banking and consumer protection lawyer with jury and bench trial experience in individual and class action claims. She represents financial institutions in consumer protection and general banking actions in state and federal courts and before administrative agencies. She also advises her clients on regulatory compliance. In addition to her litigation practice, Meyer represents and counsels businesses and non-profits on contract drafting and negotiation, preparing organizational documents and handling labor and employment matters.
