ATLANTA—Some things never change in the world of football, including the passion football fans have for their favorite college and pro teams. But other parts of the sport are constantly changing.
And for the ninth consecutive year, long-time Voice of the Atlanta Falcons Wes Durham will share his insights on the upcoming football season with Womble Bond Dickinson clients, attorneys and guests. The firm’s annual Countdown to Kickoff event takes place Wednesday, August 21 in the firm’s Atlanta office.
Will Clemson and Alabama continue to dominate the college ranks, or will another team (perhaps Georgia?) step up? How will the ACC, SEC, PAC-10 and other conferences shake out? In the NFL, will the Patriots dynasty continue? Durham will address these and many other questions.
In addition, he will share news about a project he is personally involved with—ESPN’s new ACC Network, which is scheduled to launch nationally on August 22. Wes will provide play-by-play on football and men’s basketball games for the ACC Network. In addition, Wes will co-host the “Packer and Durham” morning TV show (with Mark Packer) on the network and SiriusXM 371 radio.
