Womble Bond Dickinson attorney Ben Smith will moderate an American Bar Association panel discussion on the U.S. Small Business Administration’s new Certify.gov platform. The webinar discussion takes place from 12:30-1:30 p.m. EST on Monday, November 18.
The panel discussion will focus on the SBA’s rationale for creating a new platform, the platform’s potential impact on small business size certifications, tips for small businesses using the new platform, and how the new platform fits within other ongoing changes at the SBA. This meeting will also feature a demonstration of the new Certify.gov platform.
Ben, who serves as Vice-Chair of the ABA’s Small Business & Other Socioeconomic Programs Committee, will be joined in the discussion by Larry Stubblefield, U.S. Small Business Administration, Deputy Associate Administrator, Office of Government Contracting and Business Development; and John Perkins, U.S. Small Business Administration, Director, Veterans Small Business Certification Program.
