CHARLESTON, SC—Experienced tax, trusts and estates attorney Anne Kelley Russell has joined Womble Bond Dickinson’s Charleston office, bringing a statewide focus on guiding clients in complex wealth management and wealth transfer issues.

Russell guides business owners, individuals and families throughout South Carolina in a wide range of tax and estate planning/management/gifting strategies. She holds a Master of Laws in Taxation in addition to her J.D. and is a Certified Specialist in Estate Planning and Probate Law in South Carolina. She also advises not-for-profit organizations in navigating tax-exempt issues.

In addition to her tax, estate and wealth management planning guidance, Russell has significant experience advising fiduciaries of estates and trusts, and represents clients in resolving will contests, breach of fiduciary duty claims, and other trusts and estates related disputes.

Russell is a frequent speaker and author on tax, estate planning and wealth transfer issues. She is also active in a number of professional organizations focusing on tax, trusts and estates law and serves as the Chair-Elect of Probate Planning Estate and Trust Section Council of the South Carolina Bar.
