WBD Pride

All individuals deserve to be treated with respect, regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity. With this in mind, Womble Bond Dickinson has launched the WBD Pride initiative.

WBD Pride is the firm’s LGBTQ+ affinity and ally group with a mission to foster equality for LGBTQ+ individuals - both within the firm and in the communities we serve. 

Internally, WBD Pride as a resource and outreach group for LGBTQ+ attorneys and staff of the firm, as well as their allies. Externally, through education, mentoring and networking, pro bono initiatives, and collaboration with the business community, WBD Pride seeks to create a more just world for LGBTQ+ individuals. As part of this effort, Womble Bond Dickinson works with and supports national and local organizations that work to improve the lives of LGBTQ citizens.

Membership in WBD Pride is open to all firm attorneys and employees regardless of sexual orientation or gender identity.

The firm has earned perfect scores of 100 on the Corporate Equality Index every year since 2015. The Corporate Equality Index measures non-discrimination policies across business entities; equitable benefits for LGBTQ workers and their families; supporting an inclusive culture and corporate social responsibility; and responsible citizenship.
