Trudy specialises in commercial litigation and debt recovery matters. The main bulk of her caseload involves defending litigation claims and dealing with consumer contractual disputes. As part of this, she has experience of undertaking ADR to facilitate communication and negotiate settlement with the other parties. Trudy also deals with managing small claims for claimants, securing debts by way of charging orders and enforcing judgments and also has experience in insolvency and bankruptcy.
Her experience with key clients involves advising on the merits of a case from both the legal and commercial perspective, preparing trial bundles, witness statements and cost budgets for small claims, fast and multi-track hearings and liaising closely with Counsel in preparation for hearings and to obtain advice. Preparation of applications for enforcement such as statutory demands, charging orders and bankruptcy petitions.
