Rebecca is a Practice Development Lawyer for the Banking and Financial Services team. Since qualifying in 2007 Rebecca has advised on a broad range of debt finance transactions, including acquisition and real estate finance, security and intercreditor issues and restructuring work. She has also spent time on secondment with a major UK clearing bank.

In her role as Practice Development Lawyer, Rebecca is responsible for drafting and maintaining the suite of precedent documents used by the Banking and Financial Services team, updating the team and its clients on developments in legislation and case law, and providing training on finance law both internally and externally to clients. She has written articles for a number of legal publications and is also involved in the firm’s business development activities.


  • Co-ordinating the team’s annual training day, including devising and delivering interactive workshops on security interests and intercreditor arrangement
  • Producing a weekly podcast on developments in finance law
  • Developing and maintaining a suite of precedent documents to be used on financing transactions
  • Arranging and chairing regular know-how meetings for the banking team.
