Olivia qualified into the Employment team in September 2023, having completed her training contract with the firm, which included a secondment with a key financial services client.

Olivia has assisted the Employment team on a cross-office basis, working out of our Bristol and London offices, advising a wide range of clients across different industries on a variety of Tribunal matters. Very well regarded by clients and colleagues for her pragmatism, positivity and hard work, Olivia advises on all aspects of UK employment law including disciplinary and grievance management, organisational change, corporate support and employee terminations.

As a result of multiple clients secondments, Olivia has a depth of experience working in-house for large financial services organisations, assisting with various Tribunal matters and advising on internal policy changes and large redundancy projects. She has also completed a client secondment as a qualified solicitor, gaining extensive experience in managing large litigious matters, undertaking detailed work in relation to flexible working, and undertaking a large equal pay planning exercise.

With a career which started in HR, accentuated by her considerable in-house experience, Olivia enjoys building strong relationships with clients, and developing her understanding of their business and operations. This supports her achievement of desired outcomes for clients, whilst minimising legal risk and maximising efficiency.
