Jonathan Sparks assists with the firm’s consumer financial services licensing projects, managing change-of-control matters, 50-state license acquisition and maintenance, examinations, as well as renewals through the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS). In addition, Jonathan co-leads the consumer financial services licensing group, overseeing all licensing projects and providing support for each active project.
His experience includes over fifteen years in the licensing field, with a focus on mortgage licensure and compliance, alongside in-house roles that offer insight into client operations and challenges. He previously established and grew a licensing department over an eight-year period and successfully obtained licenses for international operations.
