Erica Helmle serves as a staff attorney in the firm’s General Counsel’s Office and advises attorneys and staff on ethics issues, conflicts of interest, and risk management. In this capacity, she helps the firm comply with its ethical responsibilities to clients.

Prior to joining Womble Bond Dickinson, Erica participated in a legal fellowship that allowed her to serve low-income, senior veterans in various areas of law. Through that experience, Erica gained insight into a wide variety of legal issues and began learning the intricacies of conflicts of interest rules.

Erica has the privilege of providing pro bono representation to children in high-conflict custody cases, which helps her remain connected with the local court system and enables her assist vulnerable members of the community.
