Chris is a dirt lawyer, and in that capacity, Chris counsels real estate developers, publicly traded home builders, real estate owners, banks, and insurance companies in how to successfully purchase, develop, manage, lease, finance, and sell real estate. Chris counsels commercial real estate clients as a member of the firm’s Real Estate Sector.

  • Represents two publicly traded home builders in all aspects of acquisition, development and assemblage for Virginia and Maryland.
  • Represented a publicly traded home builder in the balance sheet sale of client’s entire asset base in North Carolina, with a transaction value in excess of $50 Million. 
  • Represented a privately held senior housing developer in acquisition of property in Winchester, Virginia for a 1,200-lot development, with a transaction value in excess of $20 Million.
  • Represented a low-income housing developer in the District of Columbia developing and constructing a condominium development with a transaction value of $42 Million. 
  • Represented an investor in the acquisition and financing of two multi-family developments in Chesterfield County, Virginia, with a total transaction value in excess of $70 Million.
  • Represented an investor in the acquisition and financing of two multi-family developments in Chesterfield County, Virginia, with a total transaction value in excess of $70 Million.
  • Represented a life insurance association in a $140 Million construction loan package for the renovation of an historic property in the District of Columbia.
