Christina is a solicitor in our London office with four years of insurance experience in the UK and the Caribbean. Christina qualified as an Attorney at Law in Trinidad and Tobago in 2014, where she worked in house in a mid-cap insurance company operating in the general and life insurance sectors. She cross-qualified as a Solicitor in the UK in 2020.

Christina has experience handling claims at the pre-action stage and also during litigation. She deals with a broad spectrum of professional indemnity matters, with a particular focus on defending other lawyers, construction, and finance professionals. Christina also provides coverage advice to insurers on a range of issues.

As well as Panel work, Christina has experience handling claims with delegated authority from Insurers under a TPA agreement. This has given her a thorough understanding of Lloyd's platforms, such as ECF2.


  • Defending a Manchester based law firm in a multimillion pound litigated claim concerning an alleged under settlement of a divorce
  • Representing a mortgage broker who was accused of failing to provide a claimant with adequate advice on the purchase of a property
  • Assisting the members of a residents' management committee to resist a claim from a disgruntled resident who threatened injunctive proceedings due to an alleged breach of statutory duty
  • Attending mediations and without prejudice meetings, representing insurers' and policyholders' interests
  • Investigating coverage regarding scope of a notification in relation to an accountants Professional Indemnity Insurance policy and the applicability of the judgment in Europools Plc v Royal & Sun Alliance Insurance Plc [2019] EWCA Civ 808.
