Chris joined the firm in December 2013 and qualified into the Commercial Disputes and Regulatory team in March 2018. 

Having completed seats in the Construction team and the Commercial Disputes and Regulatory team, Chris has experience of both civil and criminal matters and has contributed to matters ranging from multi-million pound international disputes to high profile criminal prosecutions and government inquiries.

The majority of Chris' regulatory experience so far has been gained by working on matters involving a health and safety aspect. 

Chris is also a member of the Plymouth Law Society having previously held the position of National Representative for the Plymouth Junior Lawyer's Division.


Examples of experience include advising:

  • A landlord on their health & safety obligations in respect of a property they were offering to lease
  • Providing assistance in a high profile health & safety prosecution following a fatal chemical explosion
  • Project managing part of the disclosure stage of a multi-million pound international construction dispute.
