Arooj joined our Planning & Infrastructure team as a solicitor in September 2022 having trained and qualified with the firm. During her training, Arooj assisted in advising a range of clients from local authorities and developers to housebuilders and individuals.
Arooj has experience of advising clients on a wide variety of matters such as advising in respect of infrastructure agreements (Section 38 Agreements, Section 278 Agreements and Section 104 Agreements) and drafting and negotiating Section 106 Agreements. Arooj also has experience of assisting the team with planning due diligence and applications for development consent orders for Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects.
Prior to training and qualifying as a Solicitor, Arooj worked as a property development paralegal and has extensive experience reporting and advising clients on property transactions.
