Amy is a solicitor in the Commercial Disputes and Regulatory team. She works with clients active across a broad range of sectors, assisting with queries in relation to regulatory compliance and civil disputes.

Her regulatory experience includes advising industrial, commercial and public sector clients in relation to their obligations in respect of key environmental, health and safety legislation. She provides advice to clients around developing compliant business practices and support when clients are engaged with enforcement proceedings including initial investigations and prosecutions. Amy has a keen interest in developments in the transport sector and is currently working towards a research masters in the field of innovative transport models, specialising in the regulation of autonomous vehicles.

In relation to commercial disputes, Amy has experience of advising on a range of civil litigation matters, including contract termination, public procurement challenges and actions for breach of contract. 

Amy trained with Womble Bond Dickinson, during which time she undertook a client secondment to a global chemical manufacturing company and gained valuable experience of contract negotiation and drafting in a commercial context.

•    A local authority – support in relation to a challenge made to a competitive procurement process conducted by the council
•    A waste disposal broker – assistance with preparation for an interview under caution by the Environment Agency
