Amy first joined Womble Bond Dickinson in June 2018 as an Administration Assistant. She quickly progressed within the Administration team and began training a new joiner within five months of working at the firm. Whilst in that role, Amy learnt foundation skills which enabled her to progress into the Employment team as a Paralegal in May 2019. In December 2021, Amy became an Associate Paralegal where her unique and diverse skills will assist the LSC. Due to business need and Amy's transferable skills and ability to be utilised, Amy was transferred to the LSC Real Estate Team in 2022.
Amy continues to develop her knowledge of technological systems to maximise the team's proficiency. Her skills have been applied to a variety of internal and external HighQ Sites, with significant attention to team improvement, as well as document automation and assisting the Project Management team.
Amy has also been trained as a Mental Health First Aider for the Plymouth Office.
Experience
Examples of Amy's experience include:
- Development of the Advanced Insight Subscription Service & Brexit Support Service within the LSC Employment Team
- Creation, maintenance, and management of HighQ Collaborate sites for a variety of internal and external Clients including data extraction for the GLD Tender and assisting on the Cladding High-Rise Tender, as well as creating a streamlined process for Northern Powergrid Billing
- Document automation including but not limited to utilisation of Visio
- Vast experience of the creation of process documents including Service Operation Procedures
- Substantial experience of DSARs and Disclosures including using various technological systems (Everlaw and Relativity) to review and redact documents supporting the CorComm and Litigation Support Team
- Familiarity of Land Registry applications, across technological systems including First Registrations and stamp duty
- Understanding of progressing a matter throughout the life cycle including transactional real estate
- Production of a variety of Collateral Warranties and Parent Company Guarantee for the wider Construction Team
- Directly liaising with all individuals within a transaction including, Solicitors, Buyers, Auctioneers, Agents etc.
- Online legal research in areas of Real Estate and CQS.
