Bond Dickinson has been shortlisted for the Intellectual Property Award at the Yorkshire Legal Awards 2017.
Launched in 2000, the awards celebrate the best of Yorkshire's legal talent, recognising firms and professionals in the region. With more than 50 firms shortlisted across 22 categories, the award ceremony will take place on 12th October at New Dock Hall in the heart of Leeds.
Bond Dickinson was shortlisted on the back of its strong track record in advising regional, national and international clients on a broad range of Intellectual Property (IP) issues including the strategic management of patents, trade marks, copyright, design rights, trade secrets and IP litigation.
Patrick Cantrill, Head of the IP team at Bond Dickinson's Leeds office, said: "We're delighted to have been shortlisted for this coveted award. Intellectual Property is a significant aspect of the practice both of Bond Dickinson and that of our USA partner, so having our expertise recognised by the Yorkshire Legal Awards is a tribute to the excellent service and know-how which we provide to our clients. This good news also furthers our objective to grow and promote our IP offering in the region and beyond."
Bond Dickinson has a large presence in Leeds where it employs more 80 staff. Earlier this year, the firm announced it will be renamed Womble Bond Dickinson as it completes its transatlantic combination with US firm Womble Carlyle.
