Womble Bond Dickinson would be delighted if you could join us for our Waste Project Procurement and Handback Masterclass. The masterclass will be run in association with Wood, who provide technical waste consultancy services to many UK local authorities.

The session has been specifically created for contract managers, waste and procurement professionals and lawyers who are involved in the procurement and handback of waste management projects. It will cover a range of different waste projects including collections, recycling, HWRCs and waste treatment PPP / PFIs.

The masterclass will be run by our nationally recognised Projects and Procurements team in collaboration with Wood Group's waste services specialists, and will cover:

  • Preparing for the expiry of waste contracts and handback of assets
  • Utilising expiring contracts to deliver long term objectives
  • Developing procurements which utilise historic assets
  • How to manage risk sharing in uncertain times

The session will provide you with clear and practical guidance, including sector specific insight on key issues and lessons learnt and best practice from other projects.

It is taking place on Thursday 20 May between 12:00 – 13:00. Following the end of the seminar there will be 30 minutes of Q&A with the speakers.

Please feel free to forward this invitation onto any colleagues who you think would benefit from attending this event. Please note this seminar is intended for public sector organisations only.
